WHAT WE WILL COVER

We will be packing so much into this webinar and covering an array of topics specific to sisters you DO NOT want to miss this webinar! Below is just a taster of some of the topics that will be covered insha'Allah...

Aadaab

Allah has fashioned His creation of woman in a very specific way and endowed in her many characteristics and great potential. Allah then provided mankind the guidance to refine that potential to grant women the peak of that which He empowered them with in Islam and the Sunnah. How to live as an individual? Which characteristics to focus on? How to be a righteous daughter, wife, sibling, mother and much more. How to be an integral component of the Ummah without being exploited nor deviated from the purity of what Allah endowed in women will be the focus of this section.

“Allah is more Merciful to His slaves than she is to her child” [al-Bukhari]

‘What stops him from prohibiting me (from the mosque)’ [al-Bukhari]

Concern for women and their Jannah

The Prophet () was concerned for every member of the Ummah and took particular care of the women. Once, in reflection of his concern, he () said: “Be gentle when handling glass” [al-Bukhari]

He () gave them a special day for themselves so he could deal with their concerns and needs.

“The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed over a woman who died from childbirth …” [Muslim]

“Your companions are all returning with a Hajj and Umrah and I have not attained except Hajj …” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

“If you are patient then Jannah is yours” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

“Do what you are able”, the most beloved practice to him was that which was done consistently. [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Dealing with Trial and Loss

An integral part of womens’ lives is childbearing with all its difficulties and challenges. Along with this comes the nature of life in this world which is temporary and full of loss. With that in mind a recurring theme in the guidance the Prophet () directs specifically to women is the managing of loss and grief which he () links to protection from the fire which is the bridge to ultimate success and Paradise.

“Patience is at the moment of calamity” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

“She is granted a veil from the fire” [al-Bukhari]

“Whoever is tested with them is granted a veil from the fire” [al-Bukhari]

Jealousy

Jealousy among women is something natural and well documented, yet Islam teaches us how it must be governed and curbed. At the same time Islam acknowledges that it can not be eradicated nor should it be since behind it there is a profound wisdom.

The trick of Hafsah (ra) on Aisha (ra) to steal the Prophet () from her [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

“Do you see piety in these?!” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

“Truly, She is the daughter of Abu Bakr!” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]

“Can I adorn myself with what my husband has not given me?” [al-Bukhari and Muslim]
